Grace Hopper is an amazing experience for technical women. Thousands of women attend the conference, share knowledge and insights, and make great connections. I’m still in close contact with women I’ve met at a previous GHC — women whom I visit when we’re in the same cities, women whom I work with on fun projects, you get the idea.
Some of my friends have been GHC community volunteers in the past, and it’s a great way to give back to the community and help share the happenings of a large conference.
Inspired by my friends Ed & Ashley, I’m hoping to not only provide some posts on the sessions and happenings, but also to share video that shows off the great technical women at GHC. Also expect to see some Storify articles here as well, to aggregate the flood that is the GHC twitterverse.
If you’re interested in being involved in GHC online communities, there’s still time to get involved. I personally would love to see some creative work, like Pinterest boards (ex. find information and research about a session and share it there) or other rich media.
Are you attending GHC?
